Botox And Face Fill

Seven Things You Need To Know About Botox And Face Fill

Botox and Face Fill are among the darling techniques of people who want to look younger and healthier.  In this post you will find seven things you need to know about Botox and Facial Fill before you perform the treatments.  Check out!

One of the characteristics of aging that bother women and men most is the appearance of wrinkles and the loss of the natural volume of the skin.  Such traits arise because of the absorption of collagen, fat and bone structure, while collagen production and retention of natural skin hydration decrease.  Therefore, treatments that have direct action on these characteristics are so popular and have such positive effects, as is the case with Botox and Facial Fill.

Botox

Botox is the application of botulinum toxin in the so-called “dynamic wrinkles”, which are formed because of facial muscle contractions.  It is applied by means of a micro needle, in small quantities and very precisely over the desired area.  Before applying Botox, it is necessary to use an anesthetic cream on the spot that will receive the treatment to avoid discomfort and pain during application.  Botox works by relaxing the muscles and is therefore also used in other areas of medicine than aesthetics.

Facial Fill

Facial Filling is usually done by applying hyaluronic acid to areas of the face, helping to treat ridges, wrinkles, depressions, the so-called “Chinese mustache” and also to add lip volume, reshape the chin and nose or soften facial scars.  .  The procedure is done with the use of microcannulas, which may have more superficial or deeper application.

Below you will know seven things you need to know before you can do Botox and Face Fill.

1. BOTOX AND FACIAL FILLING CAN BE MADE IN SUMMER

Yes!  Contrary to what many people think, it is possible to have facial aesthetic treatments during the summer.  In the case of Botox and Facial Fill, care should be taken not to sunbathe without sunscreen of factor suitable to your skin, and do not exercise on the day of treatment.

2. YOU DON’T NEED TO CHOOSE BETWEEN BOTOX AND FACIAL FILLING

That’s right!  You can combine the two treatments for even better results.  Botox acts on wrinkles and expression lines of the upper third of the face, such as crow’s feet, on the expression of angry and forehead lines, relaxing this musculature.  Hyaluronic acid filling is performed to fill the depths caused by aging, such as “Chinese mustache”, or even to highlight regions such as lips, jaw, chin and cheekbones.

3. BOTOX AND FACIAL FILLING DON’T TREAT AGING

They treat one of the characteristics of aging, which are wrinkles and the loss of the natural elasticity of the face skin, but they do not prevent you from stopping aging.  This is a natural process in your body that you can soothe your face by doing Botox and Facial Fill.

4. YOU WILL NOT HAVE STRETCHED SKIN OR ARTIFICAL EFFECT

Contrary to what many people believe, Botox does not look like stretched skin to anyone who chooses this technique.  This effect is common in those who use Botox in an excessive or incorrect way.  Both Botox and Facial Fill are made by introducing fluid into the skin, which can leave small red or purple signs and a slight swelling, but the visibility of this is low and usually lasts up to 4 days.

5. BOTOX AND FACIAL FILLING HAVE DIFFERENT DURABILITY

While Botox lasts between 4 and 6 months, Facial Fill lasts between 12 and 20 months.  The time varies with the structure of each person’s skin.  The difference between Botox and Facial Filling is due to each other’s substances: botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid, respectively.  They have specific actions in the body and are therefore absorbed differently.

6. NO NEED TO HIDE AT HOME SOON AFTER BOTOX OR FACIAL FILLING

Both treatments are minimally invasive, which means you can do them and have your normal routine.  The recommendation is only that no exercise is done on the day of application and that sun exposure should be done moderately and using sunscreen.  There is no dietary restriction and it is advisable not to massage where the applications were made.

7. THERE IS NO AGE RESTRICTION TO BOTOX AND FACIAL FILLING

Botox can be applied preventively to younger people (between 25 and 30 years old) who have a family history of dynamic wrinkles, or who already have them, albeit with low intensity.  Facial Fill is also not age-restricted because it can be used to correct imperfections.  Always remember to use common sense and respect the opinion of the specialist responsible for your procedure.
